Your copy is your first impression.
Sterile, bland, prepackaged, robotic copy is the kiss of death for engagement.
I can help with that. I deliver texts that are clear, informative, persuasive, and intriguing, always keeping in mind the best tone for the format and audience.
Whether they’re reading, watching a video, or listening to a voicemail or a podcast, people’s first encounter with you will almost always be through your words.
And they want to relate to you. Face-to-face, reader-to-writer, or audience-to-speaker—same rules apply.
Twenty years —
and just getting started
I began my career in 2001 as a newspaper reporter and arts critic, and quickly worked my way up the ladder.
As a teacher of English as a foreign language, I wrote lesson plans and classroom materials on a huge variety of topics. This culminated in students giving multi-week interdisciplinary presentations in their second (or third!) language.
Then, I became a national proposal writer for a Fortune 1,000 firm. In a year, I wrote and collaborated on successful proposals for accounts worth over $215 million.
As an independent writer, I now create copy for both B2B and B2C applications. My clients include:
- local and global companies and their executives
- renowned educational institutions
- medical practices
- international language-service agencies and PR firms
- industrial giants expanding into new spaces
